A note

We fell in love with mid-century modern, atomic and brutalist styling.

When we couldn't find the pieces we wanted, we started creating them.

About

Our world, full of stories.

We didn't set out to build a business. It started with a single lamp that caught our eye — then a clock, ceramics, a few other pieces that somehow felt like they always belonged.

One thing led to another, and over time our love of mid-century modern, atomic, brutalist and evolving design quietly grew into something more — restoring, reimagining and creating pieces for homes with character.

Today, It's a Lamp Thing world brings together restored vintage lighting, hand-crafted originals, clocks, ceramics, wall art and carefully collected mid-century treasures — chosen, restored or created because we genuinely love living with them ourselves.

Some lovingly preserved. Others entirely reimagined.

Atmosphere

More than lamps. Atmosphere.

A room shifts when a lamp glows. Timber warms. Shadows soften. Collections come alive.

We're drawn to —

  • · Iconic ceramics — Bitossi, Ellis Australia & beyond
  • · Barsony & friends
  • · Atomic & mid-century modern forms
  • · Starburst clocks & sculptural forms
  • · Brutalist & abstract design
  • · Teak, walnut & warm timber tones
  • · Quirky finds & handcrafted originals
  • · Restored, reimagined & one-of-a-kind pieces
  • · Homes with stories

Lighting changes a room. It softens the edges, warms the timber, and lets a space exhale at the end of the day.

This is the feeling we collect for.
